Crossroads of Northwest Indiana
Interstate 65 is the principal north-south corridor with Exits at mile markers 201, 205, 215, 220 and 230. U.S. Highways 24 and 231 also serve the County as do State Routes 10, 14, 16, 49, 110 and 114.
Class 1 Railroad Service
The CSX and the Norfolk Southern operate in Jasper County. The Toledo, Peoria and Western (TPW) Railway runs a short line including an inter-model facility at the County’s southeastern border. In addition, Amtrak provides passenger rail service via its Cardinal Train and Hoosier State Train.

The Port of Indiana - Burns Harbor is the most efficient deep water port on the Great Lakes handling more ocean going cargo than any other U.S. Great Lakes port. It is is located less than 1 hour north of Jasper County in Portage, IN on the south shore of Lake Michigan.
