Hit the Trails in Jasper County

Join us this summer as we explore nature preserves across Jasper County. We are excited to announce that we received the NIPSCO Environmental Action Grant to launch Take a Hike!

We are partnering with Jasper Newton Foundation Franciscan Health Rensselaer to program hikes throughout Jasper County to learn about the natural history of our nature preserves, the benefits of being outside to our mental physical health, and discover some of the amazing natural spaces that are located in Jasper County.

Join us at 9 a.m. central time on the following dates in 2022:

  • June 18 @ Prairie Border Nature Preserve
  • July 16 @ Fisher Oak Savanna Nature Preserve
  • August 20 @ Stoutsburg Savanna Nature Preserve
  • September 17 @ Gish Wildlife Area
